What is hybrid work model?

The hybrid model consists of teams who work in mixed environments. Basically, if your company adapts this approach then you may get to work remotely part of the week and in the remaining days, you can work in office. In this way, Hybrid model brings the best of both – work from home and work from office environment. Every company develops a hybrid model based on its needs. While some organizations adapt the remote-first approach which grants the employees to fully work from home and communicate online, others believe in office-occasional approach which allows the employees to come to the office a few times a week.

How hybrid work model is beneficial for employees?

It is needless to say that Hybrid working gives more freedom to the employees. Not only they can plan their work according to their own schedule but can also spend quality time with their families or loved ones. A flexible working environment relieves employees from the stress of daily commute and also allows them increase their productivity.

Employees can now choose the time to perform their individual tasks. Instead of focusing on intensive projects during the long working hours, they have now the flexibility to decide when to work and where to work. Besides this, what’s more interesting for them is, hybrid model also provides an opportunity to the employees to work in a dedicated office environment where they can build a better coordination among the team.

The future of work lies in ‘Hybrid’

It is true that the modern offices are designed around the productivity at its core. But the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on each and every sector of the world have changed everything. Almost overnight, safety took precedence over productivity. The organizations have to shut down their offices to maintain the well-being of their employees. Even though, when the companies are now preparing to reopen the offices, one can’t ignore the fact that we are still very far from the end of this pandemic situation. Hence, Hybrid is the only option that can accommodate both the physical and virtual worlds and maintain a perfect work life-balance for the employees.

In a hybrid workplace, employees have the flexible work options which allow them to be productive and be safe at the same time.

Since we are talking about the hybrid workplace and flexible work environment, what could be more suitable example of it than a coworking space. There are many decent workspaces across Delhi-NCR, all you have to do is just searching “best coworking space in Delhi, or coworking space in Noida.”

Conclusion

Hybrid work model has become an essential part of this ‘new normal’ era. While the world is moving forward, companies need to incorporate structural changes to allow their employees to work in a flexible environment and this is the reason why Hybrid mode of working is here to stay.

Moreover, most of the studies conducted also concluded that the benefits of a hybrid work model greatly outweigh the negatives. Hence, Hybrid is going to be a big part of the picture, given the transformation of modern working.
